Who We Are

VeriCarbon has assembled a group of experts to focus on high-integrity projects and web-based software solutions to support the carbon credit market in a clear and transparent manner. Our goal is to generate high-quality carbon offsets that become the universally accepted tool to solve global climate change.

Our Mission
To preserve, protect, and restore the planet for all its inhabitants.

Vision Statement
We envision a world with restored natural ecosystems that are valued with integrity and transparency.

We are a start-up that has assembled a team that has deep experience in carbon markets and project management.

Our projects are designed to improve natural and human ecosystems together to:

  • Deliver high integrity carbon credits to our clients to become the universally accepted tool to solve global climate change

  • Support orphan well capping activities to reduce methane emissions

  • Improve soil to reduce erosion and improve water retention

  • Rehabilitate and/or manage water sources to conserve this finite resource

  • Create, restore, or maintain habitats for native animals and insects, particularly endangered species and key pollinators such as bees

  • Return landscapes to historical native species to ensure the growth and health of vegetation with minimal intervention

  • Create partnerships with local communities to promote job growth and/or service projects

  • Create transparency using our internally developed software to validate, verify, and track carbon credits adhering to industry methodologies

We focus on efforts in the following areas:

Forestry
Includes reforestation, afforestation, protection of existing forest land, and improved forest management projects.

Grassland and Soil
Includes improving and restoring prairie and pastureland that has been damaged by overgrazing or mismanaged agricultural practices.

Wetlands
Includes repairing, expanding, improving, and conserving existing wetlands.

Wildlife Habitat
The focus is on all native wildlife with particular interest in threatened and endangered species.

Livestock Management
Done in conjunction with other protocols and includes reducing herd sizes, changing grazing practices, and introduction of livestock when appropriate.

Other Vegetation
Planting or restoring agave, cacti, and other shrubs in arid conditions that support drought-tolerant vegetation.

We look forward to keeping you updated on our technology development and project selection.
